Denon is soon to release their 8K replacement for the DRA-800H stereo network receiver, the high performance two channel DRA-900H stereo network receiver.

This new 8K model delivers up to 175 watts per channel and is equipped with six HDMI inputs, three of which support 8K video. The single 8K HDMI output supports ARC/eARC simplifying connectivity to your TV. Gamers are catered for with support for ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Quick Frame Transport (QFT) and 8K/60 and 4K/120 video.

Additional wired connectivity includes; Phono (MM) for vinyl enthusiasts, CD, CBL/SAT, coaxial, two optical connectors and two subwoofer pre-outputs. With Zone 1 & 2 being supported via two independent pairs of RCA pre-outs. Wireless connectivity includes; Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay 2 and AM/FM radio. Speaker connectivity is provided by two pairs of binding posts that may be used as either Speaker A/B or for bi-wiring.

Streaming abilities are quite extensive supporting; compatible HEOS components, Amazon Music HD, Amazon Music, TIDAL, Deezer, iHeart Radio, Napster, Soundcloud and Mood Mix. With Internet Radio via Tunein, Spotify Connect, Pandora and SiriusXM. Plus it is ROON tested.

Digital to analog conversion is handled by an ESS SABRE ES9010K2M 384kHz 32-bit DAC, with support for lossy and lossless Hi-Res file formats to include; MP3, WMA, AAC FLAC, ALAC, WAV, FLAC HD 192/24, WAV 192/24, ALAC 192/24 and DSD (2.8/5.6MHz), with gapless playback supported for FLAC, WAV, ALAC and DSD.

Finally control is not only avilable avilable via the supplied RC-1259 IR remote, front panel controls, the Denon app, IP and web, but for convenience support for; Alexa, Google Voice Assistant and Apple HomePod are also included.
