Rotel Michi Prestige P430 Pre-Amplifier And S430 Power Amplifier

Joining the previously introduced X430 Integrated Amplifier and Q430 CD Player, Rotel Michi has expanded its Prestige Series with the launch of the Michi Prestige P430 Pre-amplifier and Michi Prestige S430 Stereo Power Amplifier. These half width models come in a black finish are are both priced at; £3,599/$3,999/€3,999 each.
The Michi Prestige P430 Pre-amplifier is designed to accommodate a range of source components, including MM cartridges, digital music libraries, computer audio, Bluetooth with aptX HD and AAC, HDMI ARC for TV audio and legacy analogue equipment. At its core is an ESS SABRE 32 bit HyperStream II ES9028PRO 8-channel DAC, with advanced clocking for jitter-controlled performance. The P430 is capable of supporting PCM files up to 32-bit/384KHz, as well as DSD256 and is certified Roon Tested. Two in-house-manufactured toroidal transformer and large bulk-storage capacitors provide an ultra-low-noise power.
The P430 aluminium chassis features a front-panel TFT display and comes with an RR-MH31 IR remote control. A comprehensive menu system is available at any time by pressing the Setup button on the remote control. These menus guide you through the configuration and setup of the unit. The settings configured during the setup process are permanently saved as the default settings and do not need to be adjusted again for normal operation of the unit.
Rear panel signal connectivity is extensive and includes: 3 x stereo RCA and 1 x XLR line level input, 1 x MM RCA phono input, 1 x stereo RCA line out, 2 x XLR line out, 2 x RCA sub out and 2 x stereo RCA pre-out. Digital input connectivity includes: 1 x HDMI ARC, 3 x optical and 3 x coaxial. Digital outputs include; 1 x coaxial and 1 x optical. Other connections include: 1 x RJ45 network, 1 x PC-USB input, 1 x 12VDC 3.5mm trigger I/O, 1 x ext. remote in and 1 x DB9 for RS232 control. A 3.5mm headphone socket is available on the front panel.
The Michi Prestige S430 Stereo Power Amplifier provides 230 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms and 390 Watts per channel into 4 Ohms. The new amplifier uses an advanced architecture which combines an oversized in-house-manufactured toroidal transformer, large bulk-storage capacitors, isolated signal routing and multi-stage Class AB push-pull output transistors. Its aluminium chassis features a front-panel TFT display, with selectable VU meter and spectrum meter views and it also comes with an RR-MH31 IR remote control.
The unit features an information display to help operate the system. A more comprehensive On-Screen Display (OSD) menu system is available at any time by pressing the setup button on the remote control. These OSD menus guide you through the configuration and setup of the unit. The settings configured during the setup process are permanently saved as the default settings and do not need to be adjusted again for normal operation of the unit.
