Yamaha has announced the R-N600A stereo network receiver/streaming amplifier at this years IFA. The R-N600A is the entry level network receiver sitting below the R-N800A and R-N1000A models.

The R-N600A delivers 80 watts per channel into 8 ohms, with wired connectivity supporting; four RCA stereo line-level inputs and one RCA MM phono input, with digital connectivity extending to; two optical and two coaxial inputs plus a front panel USB. Like the other receivers in this range it also supports two pairs of speakers for A/B use or bi-amping, two stereo RCA line-level outputs, one headphone and an RCA  subwoofer output.

Yamaha New R-N600A Network Receiver - Quick LookIts Hi-Fi design concept is based upon Yamaha’s ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology) and uses the renowned ESS SABRE ES9010K2M 384kHz, 32-bit DAC to deliver superior S/N performance. Hi-Res sound is supported by an ultra-precise dedicated crystal clock to improve the signal accuracy of the USB DAC that supports DSD 11.2MHz native playback and PCM 384kHz playback of AIFF/WAV, FLAC and 96KHz/24bit ALAC together with MP3 and MPEG-4 file support.

The R-N600A is compatible with a variety of streaming services such as Amazon Music HD, Spotify, Deezer, TIDAL, Napster, Pandora, Sirus XM and Qobuz while supporting AirPlay 2 and including DAB/FM radio

Finally records, TV, CDs, and other sources connected to the R-N600A can be sent to other MusicCast enabled devices and enjoyed throughout your home.
