Synthesis Announces FCO-300B Tube Amplifier

The Italian brand Synthesis will shortly launch a new single-ended tube stereo integrated amplifier, the Synthesis FCO -300B.
The new single-ended integrated tube amplifier is configured in dual-mono arrangement with the output stages using Electro-Harmonicx 300B triodes operating in pure Class A. The output stage is driven by a 6CG7 double triode while the preamp circuit is designed around 12AU7 and 12AX7 triodes. Even in the power supply is tubed using a 5U4g kenotron rectifier that is fed by a high power toroidal transformer.
The 300B output transformers are double C-core designs with taps that support 8 watts into both 4 and 8 ohms at a THD of 1% @1 kHz and up to 10 watts at a THD of 3% @ 1kHz. Frequency response is claimed to be 10Hz to 50KHz +- 1dB, with an SNR of >90dB, A weighted. Output tube biasing being automatic.
Signal connectivity includes; four balanced XLR and four unbalanced RCA line level inputs that are selectable via the front panel controls or supplied remote control that also controls; volume, mute and standby.
Finally this new design comes with a dark gray metal chassis with a silver anodized aluminum front panel.
