The Nucleus Titan Music Server

Roon has just announced a new flagship music server, the Nucleus Titan. This latest server replaces the original Nucleus and Nucleus plus that are now both discontinued. Arriving in a precision-machined billet aluminum enclosure made from a solid block of metal, it features an interchangeable top that is available in three custom finishes; metal, stone composite or wood.

Just like its predecessors, the Nucleus Titan is designed  and optimized to work with Roon’s digital music management platform, includes several new features and three internal storage sizes of 2TB, 4TB and 8TB. This new server is also silent as it is a fan-less design and self-cooling.

The Nucleus Titan supports multiroom setups and comes with; two USB-C and two USB-A inputs, two audio-only HDMI ports and an Ethernet port (TBC) for wired connection to your personnel network.

With a base price (no internal storage) of $3,699 this new server isn’t cheap, and then you have to add to that a Roon account that starts off at $15.00 per month, with discounts available for various time periods.
