Although Rekkord might not be a household name in the US, their German-made turntables have been a standard of excellence for nearly half a century. VANA Ltd has been appointed the North American distributor of this very cost effective range of turntables, that bring ownership within the reach of ALL vinyl lovers.

Hand-made in the Black Forest, Rekkord turntable and tonearm designs benefit from nearly half a century of precision German engineering. The founders original factory opened in 1907 and to this day every Rekkord turntable is still assembled by hand in the same factory. Each turntable is meticulously adjusted to achieve excellent sound quality, reliability and unit-to-unit consistency.

The F100 is their latest entry-level, fully automatic start/stop turntable, that features a black satin matte finish and a heavy aluminum platter driven by a polished flat belt and 33/45RPM electronically regulated DC motor. The design uses an 8.3in ultra-low-mass tonearm with steel-tip ball bearings and includes a pre-mounted Audio Technica 3600L moving magnet (MM) cartridge in a carbon-fiber reinforced headshell, that has been factory aligned for tracking force, anti-skating and zenith. The complete F100 turntable assembly sits in a pressed wooden chassis that is said to “reduce resonances”.

The turntable comes with a dust cover, anti-static felt mat and a fixed phono cable. An optional integrated phono RIAA pre-amplifier is available in the F100P model.
