Orchard Audio Introduces Starkrimson Duo/Trio Power Amplifiers

After the success of their Starkrimson® Mono amplifier, Orchard Audio of Succasunna, New Jersey has introduced the Starkrimson Duo/Trio amplifiers. At 150 watts per channel these Dual or Triple, Mono, Hi-Fi, GaN Class D Audio Power Amplifiers, are ideal for powering the front 3 channels in a home theater system as well as for 2.1 systems.
According to Orchard Audio; “This latest design – which has already been previewed, tested, and highly praised – fully explores the benefits of the latest gallium nitride (GaN) transistors, providing less harshness, cleaner highs, and better overall transparency and detail, plus irrelevant noise levels. The pulse-depth modulation (PDM) is performed completely in the analog domain before being amplified by the GaN power stages. Starkrimson amplifiers use Orchard Audio’s proprietary DC-coupled, fully balanced dual feedback modulator, which allows the amplifier to be completely balanced from input to output, through the use of bridged GaN power stages.”
This latest dual or triple triple mono design is packaged in an aluminum and steel chassis with gold-plated speaker binding posts and XLR input connectors.
