McIntosh has unveiled the 93lbs/42.2Kg MA2375 Vacuum Tube Integrated Amplifier, marking the their first hi-fi vacuum tube integrated amplifier in more than ten years. This purely analog amplifier chassis (no ADC/DAC’s here), pairs a satin black top panel with a polished stainless steel fascia and dual front mounted blue watt-meters that flank the tube array.

The MA2375 combines a fully analogue vacuum tube pre and power amplifier utilising four KT88 tetrode output valves and four dual triode 12AT7 driver tubes, alongside two dual triode 12AX7A and two dual triode 12AT7 preamp tubes in a single chassis. The design is aimed at giving tube aficionados that warmth and musicality they desire.

Delivering 75 watts per channel, the MA237 benefits from McIntosh’s Unity Coupled Circuit output transformers to maintain consistent performance with 4, 8 or 16-ohm loudspeakers. with a subwoofer out to round things off. Long term reliability is aided by the inclusion of Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor (SGS) tech and Sentry Monitor fuse-less protection. Additionally, a five-band analogue equaliser, and a High Drive headphone amplifier with Headphone Crossfeed Director (HXD) are included. For the vinyl enthusiasts, there is even a phono stage that can accommodate both Moving Coil and Moving Magnet cartridges that includes adjustable gain, capacitance, resistance loading, and RIAA equalization.

Rear panel analogue connectivity includes; 2 x stereo XLR and 3 x stereo RCA inputs, 1 x RCA MM/MC phono input, 1 x stereo RCA pre-amp out, 1 x RCA sub out and four pairs of  solid cinch speaker binding posts. Control is available using the; 1 x RS232, 1 x IR, 1 x data I/O and 12VDC trigger passthrough 3.5mm connectors. Front panel connectivity provides access to the 1/4″ headphone socket.

Rounding out the design are; Power Control and Home Theatre PassThru.
