KLH Unveils Model Four Speaker

American HiFi brand, KLH has unveiled the Model Four, a floor-standing semi-compact three-way acoustic suspension design fitting between the existing Model Three and Model Five speakers. Three finish options are available; English Walnut with Stonewash Knit Grille, Black Ash with Grey Knit Grille, and White Oak with Black Knit Grille, all grilles are magnetic.
The Model Four is a 3-way sealed-box design that uses; an 8″ pulp-paper bass driver with reverse-roll rubber suspension, a 4″ pulp-paper midrange driver and a 1″ aluminium dome tweeter. KLH states a frequency response of 46Hz–20KHz (+/-3dB) with low-frequency extension reaching 35Hz at -10dB, a sensitivity of 88dB at 2.83V/1m and a nominal impedance of 6 ohms.

Passive speaker crossover is handled by a second-order filter with crossover frequencies set a t380Hz and 2,500Hz. A three-position Acoustic Balance Control lets listeners adjust the mid and high-frequency characters to suit their taste.
The MDF cabinet stands 26″ tall without its riser stand, is 13″ wide and has a depth of 8.25″. The included 6-degree slanted riser brings total height to 32.2″ and overall depth to under 11 inches.
Connectivity is via gold-plated five-way binding posts.
