Clearaudio Unveils Diamond Jubilee MC Cartridge

German analogue audio specialist Clearaudio has unveiled its new flagship moving-coil cartridge, the Clearaudio Diamond Jubilee MC. This moving coil cartridge is positioned to be what Clearaudio claims is the pinnacle of engineering providing unprecedented level of accuracy and musicality, only 45 units will be available worldwide. This latest design features an advanced zirconium oxide body, 24-carat gold coils, a boron cantilever, and a precision-cut Micro-HD diamond stylus.
The Diamond Jubilee MC is constructed from zirconium oxide, a material Clearaudio says was chosen for its exceptional hardness, outstanding resonance stability, and ability to maintain precise tolerances, it is also highly resistant to chemical and environmental factors, making it ideal for high-performance applications. According to the company, this high-performance ceramic enables manufacturing tolerances as precise as 0.001 mm, contributing to superior resonance control and minimal unwanted vibrations.
The design uses ultra-thin 24-carat gold coils, which the company states enhance efficiency and contribute to its detailed sound reproduction, while an integrated high-frequency shielding system is said to eliminate interference and preserve signal purity. Also highlighted is the cartridge’s optimized magnet arrangement, featuring high-strength neodymium magnets and a revised coil geometry, which Clearaudio claims results in unparalleled dynamics and resolution.
The precision-cut Micro-HD diamond stylus helps support a channel separation of over 35 dB and a channel balance of under 0.15 dB and together with its newly designed, angled boron cantilever provides superior performance in tracking accuracy and groove tracing, enabling an impressive stereo reproduction.
