Cambridge Audio MXW70 Half-Width Power Amp

Cambridge Audio has announced the MXW70 power amplifier. This minimalist and timeless half-width model is designed to be paired with the half-width MXN10 network streamer and/or DACMagic 200 and comes in Cambridge Audio’s trademark Lunar Grey.
When added to the MXN10 and DACmagic 200, Cambridge Audio’s StreamMagic app can then control the full system.
The MXW70 features Class-D amplification with Hypex NCore technology, that provides 2x70wpc into 8ohms, 2x 125wpc into 4ohms, and in 250watts into 8 ohms in monoblock mode. All powered by a built-in switched mode power supply (SMPS). Frequency response is quoted as 10Hz – 30KHz (-1dB) with an unweighted THD+N at 5 watts into 8 ohms of <0.015%.
Rear panel connectivity includes; 1 pair of RCA and XLR analog line-level inputs, 2 pairs of speaker binding posts and a 12VDC trigger in/loopthro. The rear panel also provides access to the input connector selection and mono/stereo mode switches.
