Yamaha MultiCast 200 Desktop Streamer – Quick Look

The Multicast 200 or TSX-N237D is a new desktop steamer from Yamaha that is to be released later this year. An all-in-one desktop streaming audio system including; amplifier, speakers, music streaming services, network audio and CD playback.
The MusicCast 200 supports playback from sources including; CD, FM/DAB+ radio, USB, Bluetooth and WiFi. In addition, this new model comes with the latest network features to take advantage of Yamaha’s MusicCast multi-room/multi-source audio control system. It supports streaming to other MusicCast-compatible devices, offering music selection together with volume and source control via the dedicated MusicCast Controller smartphone app. The player also comes with Qi, an integrated wireless charging coil, meaning devices like smartphones can be placed on its top and charged wirelessly.
It supports wired and wireless streaming services from: Spotify, Amazon Music, Deezer, TIDAL, Napster, Pandora, SiriusXM, Qobuz and QQMusic with USB playback of MP3, WMA, AAC, WAV, FLAC, ALAC and AIFF files. Also supporting Airplay 2.
Its 25 watts per cannel stereo amplifiers drive newly developed 8cm, 2-way coaxial speakers and have an equalizer that allows bass, midrange and treble to be adjusted.
Finally control is also available via the units top panel flat touch controls and supplied IR remote, with the front panel display providing date, time, track, title and setup information.
