VinnieRossi Introduces The Canta Phono Preamplifier

VinnieRossi has announced the new Canta Series of audio components. The first model in this range is the Canta Phono Preamplifier. The series will be expanded throughout the fall, with the Canta Integrated Amplifier to be announced in September, the Canta Preamplifier in October, and the Canta Stereo Power Amplifier in November. US pricing for the Canta Phono Preamplifier is provisional at $17,995.00. Pricing for other regions to follow.

The VinnieRossi Canta Phono Preamplifier is positioned between its Canta and Brama ranges. It can be used with electronics from either series, allowing it to be incorporated into a Brama system or used as part of a complete Canta system.

The CANTA Phono Preamplifier features a fully discrete, dual-mono architecture with balanced XLR and single-ended RCA connectivity. The design employs a discrete JFET (transconductance/transimpedance) input stage, high-precision RIAA equalization, and a Belleson super-regulated power supply. It supports both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges, offering flexible cartridge loading and a switchable high-pass filter.

The case is CNC-machined from a solid block of aluminum, providing exceptional mechanical rigidity, resonance control, electromagnetic shielding, and grounding integrity while reflecting the timeless industrial design language of the CANTA Series. The front panel high resolution display provides an intuitive user interface for adjust gain, loading, and other parameters with ease, with all settings stored in memory.
