Goldmund Telos 690 Integrated Amplifier – Quick Look

This latest integrated amplifier from Swiss luxury audio creators Goldmund is available in standard silver gray or custom black matte finishes. It boasts dual 350VA toroidal transformers helping to reduce magnetic fields and noise and 46,000 µF of power supply smoothing capacity to help improve dynamics.
The result is a solid 250 watts into 8 ohms or 320watts into 4 ohms, both channel driven, with a noise floor of <10 μV from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and a THD+N, unloaded of <0.08 % from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 30 Vrms output.
Control is available using the two front panel rotary knobs to select input and volume with the handheld remote duplicating these functions and offering mute. Source, volume level and clock lock are indicated in the front panel display.
Rear panel connectivity includes; five pairs on unbalanced RCA inputs, with digital input supported via single coaxial and optical inputs. A USB Audio Class 2.0 interface is also available that supports Hi-Res audio up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD64 and DSD128. One pair of speaker binding posts are available plus one RS232 control port.
