Transparent Turntable Launched - First Look

The new Transparent Turntable is crafted out of aluminum and tempered glass, is a belt-driven design and features a built-in phono stage and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. This allows the user to connect it either wired to your power amplifier or wireless to active speakers, without the need for a separate RIAA phono amplifier.

Standard wired line-level connectivity is available using either the gold plated RCA phono connectors or dual use 3.5mm port that also provides digital optical connectivity (cables included).

Speeds include both 33 and 45 RPM which may be adjusted using the provided pitch control (+- 10%).

The turntable package comes in either black or white and is rounded off with a matching tonearm having adjustable tracking weight and bias and an SME style detachable head shell. It also includes a pre-mounted and factory aligned Ortofon OM5E moving-magnet cartridge with an elliptical diamond stylus. A clear dust cover and platter matt are also provided.

Finally, its modular design is said to support future; flexibility, upgradability including firmware via the USB port and reparability.

At this price point other options would include the; Rega Planar 6 and Technics SL-1500C
