SVS has just released its new and most affordable 1000 Pro Series subwoofers, both sealed (SB) and vented (PB) models, that boast improved low-frequency output with features originally only found in their flagship models.
Both Pro models feature an all-new 12-inch high-excursion driver, Sledge STA-325D amplification and Analog Devices DSP, all contained in redesigned cabinets. To top it all off SVS has added real time tuning and control using their advanced SVS app that lets you fine tune the subs performance from your MLP.
The SVS 1000 Pro sub’s cabinet features an extra-thick MDF front baffle and rigid internal bracing and damping, ensuring an acoustically inert enclosure. Mounted in this cabinet is the new, proprietary, SVS designed driver that utilise a dual-ferrite magnet motor assembly with a long-throw parabolic surround for extreme excursion and high room SPL’s. The lightweight and rigid aluminium vented cone helps deliver clean and accurate bass.

The 325 watt RMS, 820 watts peak Sledge STA-325D amplifier combines the high current output of discrete MOSFETs with Class D efficiency, and a 50MHz Analog Devices Audio DSP engine with 56-bit filtering to control and optimize the entire systems performance.
The SVS smart app was originally launched with the 16-Ultra subwoofer series and works with Apple, Android and Amazon devices. It uses bi-directional Bluetooth technology to connect to the sub showing adjustment both locally in the app, and on the subs rear panel interface. It provides access to various DSP functions to include: volume, crossover frequencies, custom preset programming and selection, a three-band parametric EQ, polarity, room gain, subwoofer naming and factory reset.
