Pink Floyd’s 1973 album, The Dark Side Of The Moon, was the band’s eighth studio album. It was undoubtably one of their most most iconic and influential albums ever, and continues to find new audiences globally. This year, to celebrate its 50th Anniversary, a new deluxe box set will be released on 24th March.

The original ’73 album was released on March 1st in the US and March 16th in the UK, and is to date the best selling album of all time, racking up sales of over 50 million copies worldwide.

This new deluxe box set includes; CD and gatefold vinyl of the new 2023 remastered studio album and Blu-Ray + DVD audio featuring the original 5.1 mix and remastered stereo versions. The set also includes additional new Blu-ray disc of Atmos mix plus CD and LP of The Dark Side Of The Moon – Live At Wembley Empire Pool, London, 1974.

Simultaneously on March 24th 2023 both the CD and first ever vinyl issue of Pink Floyd’s ‘The Dark Side Of The Moon – Live At Wembley Empire Pool, London, 1974’  will be released independently, as will the book, Pink Floyd – The Dark Side Of The Moon: 50th Anniversary, which is part of the deluxe box offering and is published separately by Thames & Hudson. The book, curated by photographer Jill Furmanovsky and art directed by Hipgnosis co-founder Aubrey Powell, showcases rare and previously unseen photographs taken during The Dark Side Of The Moon tours of 1972-1975 and was created with the involvement of the band members.

Live At Wembley Empire Pool, London, 1974 was recorded at the Empire Pool, Wembley, London, November 1974. It was engineered by; Brian Humphries and Phill Brown, mixed by Andy Jackson, assisted by Damon Iddins and mastered by Andy Jackson at Tube Mastering.
