The NAD C 700 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifier is a versatile solution for high-resolution, multi-room music streaming. With the inclusion of an advanced ESS Sabre ES9028 DAC together with NAD’s HybridDigital UcD amplifier technology audiophiles and music enthusiasts are assured powerful and clear sound reproduction. The design also features the ability to to switch to a 4.1 Dolby Digital Surround setup with BluOS Enabled rear channels plus a wired subwoofer, making it suitable for both music and home theatre applications.

NAD have now announced the inclusion of DIRAC Live EQ into several of its new (and possible older) products, the C700 being one of the first to make this high-end room equalization system available. The separate purchase of a DIRAC license is used to unlock this feature. Using a calibrated microphone (purchased separately) and the DIRAC app, users can precision-tune their speakers to enjoy music and movies in their listening room. The C 700 V2 can store up to five DIRAC Live profiles, accommodating different setups and room conditions.

BluOS streaming and multi-room functionality are at the core of the C 700 V2, providing access to over 20 popular music streaming services, thousands of internet radio stations, and local digital music libraries. Its compatibility with major home control systems and voice assistants like Alexa and Siri, making it a smart addition to modern homes. Just add speakers.

Connectivity is quite flexible and includes; a low noise MM phono input with RIAA EQ, optical and coaxial digital inputs, HDMI eARC, two-way aptX HD Bluetooth, and Apple AirPlay 2. Outputs include; stereo RCA pre-out and RCA subwoofer, with two pairs of speaker binding posts. There is also a GigE RJ45 network connection, a USB Type A for music playback and connecting the optional calibration mic, plus an IR input and 12VDC trigger output.

Finally, the new design features a high-definition color display, a solid aluminum body with control available via the front panel knob and two buttons, the supplied IR remote and the user-friendly BluOS Controller app.
