The NAD C 700 is a compact, light and powerful, BluOS-enabled streaming amplifier that takes NAD’s expertise in integrated amplifiers and adds wireless BluOS for multi-room lossless streaming capabilities. Its small footprint will allow it to fit just about anywhere, it can connect to any device through its wide range of inputs and only requires you to add a pair of speakers or earphones.

BluOS Streaming

BluOS has rapidly become one of the most highly regarded high-resolution networked streaming platforms throughout the world and has been embraced by many audiophiles for its:

  • Robust functionality
  • Lossless streaming
  • Ease of use
  • Cataloging ability
  • Overall sound quality

This BluOS platform provides the C 700 with the ability to stream lossless/high res audio from Amazon Music HD, Deezer, Idagio, Qobuz, and Tidal supporting high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192kHz. The unit is ideal for multi-room distribution supporting up to 63 BluOS NAD players that may be controlled using the free BluOS app.

The C 700 also supports MQA and can act as a Roon endpoint, playing well with – Apple AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect. It supports aptX Bluetooth capabilities and responds to voice commends via Amazon Alexa, Apple Siri, and Google Assistant.

The Power Amplifier

The C 700 amplifier technology is based upon the same HybridDigital UcD amplification first pioneered for the NAD Masters Series M2 stereo amp. The speaker output delivers 2 x 80 watts continuously and over 2 x 100 watts instantaneously into 8 ohms with extremely low distortion and low noise.

Digital To Analog Conversion

Digital to analog conversion is handled by the same range of converters as used in NAD’s Masters Series M33 and M10 units. The ES-9010 DAC from the ESS Sabre family provides audiophile-grade digital to analogue signal conversion supporting up to 24-bit/192kHz high resolution audio and MQA playback.

Connectivity

Supporting a huge range of hard-wired connectivity the C 700 can be connected to just about any device including; disc players, game consoles, external drives, media adapters and flat panel displays, or opt for wireless control with Apple Airplay 2 and two-way aptX HD Bluetooth that also supports headphones. Hard wired input connectivity includes:

Analog:

  • Stereo Line Input: RCA x2
  • Stereo Line Pre-Out: RCA
  • Subwoofer Line Out: RCA (selectable low pass filter)
  • Stereo speaker binding posts x2

Digital:

  • Optical
  • HDMI eARC (audio only)
