NAD have just announced the M10 V3 combined streamer and stereo 100 watt amplifier, just add your speakers and you are ready to go. The M10 V3’s user experience uses the acclaimed BluOS multi-room music platform, which integrates dozens of streaming music services. This latest model maintains all the features of the original M10 and M10 V2, but improves upon the platform with the addition of NAD’s new BC1 IR remote control, support for optional Dirac Live Bass Control, a high-performance dedicated phono input (MM), and an upgraded DAC.
The M10 V3 sports a full-color touchscreen display and brushed aluminum chassis, featuring 100 watts per channel of Hybrid Digital nCore class D amplification that delivers 100 watts of continuous power into 8 and 4 Ohms with a quoted THD (20 Hz – 20 kHz) of <0.03% and 160 watts of dynamic power into 8 Ohms. The design also includes an industry-leading ESS SABRE ES9039 DAC that delivers high dynamic range and ultra-low distortion, and is also ready to support Dirac Live Bass Control for bass management in single and multi-subwoofer setups.
Built around the BluOS multi-room music platform, the M10 V3 can be controlled from any smartphone, tablet or desktop, and stream popular music streaming services, internet radio stations, and personal music libraries stored on any network drive or computer. It can stream hi-res audio up to 24-bit/192kHz and connect to other BluOS enabled speakers and audio systems for a multi-room music experience throughout the home. The M10 V3 can create a wireless Dolby Digital home theatre 4.1 system and with support for both Apple AirPlay 2 and aptX HD Bluetooth provides streaming support for any app or service.
With the recent addition of Dirac Live to many new Blusound products, including this model, users can use Dirac’s app and room correction technology to measure their room acoustics and improve the rooms acoustics by reduce standing waves and other unwanted interactions. Dirac allows users to optimize the speaker outputs in both the time and frequency domains to deliver a smooth response between the subwoofers and main speakers. Plus the included BC1 remote control features an EQ button for selecting programmed Dirac filter profiles. Remember, Dirac is an optional upgrade and you have to also purchase both the Dirac license and a suitable microphone.
Rear panel connectivity includes; a new dedicated stereo RCA MM phono input with RIAA equalization, 1 x stereo RCA line input, 1 x optical and coaxial digital inputs, 1 x USB type A input for computers and music drives, 1 x HDMI eARC for enhanced audio with TV shows, movies, and games, 1 x stereo RCA pre-out, 2 x RCA subwoofer out, 1 x RJ45 Gigabit network connection, 1 x 12VDC trigger out and 1 x IR in. With speaker connectivity via two pairs of binding posts.
Finally, the M10 V3 supports a number of advanced control systems including Crestron, Control4, RTI, URC, Elan, Lutron, and iPort.
