Mission 778 Series CD Transport And Music Streamer – Announced

Mission have just announced two new half width products for their 778 series, the 778CDT CD transport and the 778S music streamer. These latest separates additions to the 778 series are due to be released in autumn 2024.
Details, pricing and specifications are thin on the ground for now.
Both share the same half-width chassis and visual appeal of the 778X amp. The 778CDT transport is matched to partner with the stereo amp’s internal DAC, and there are basic buttons for playback and control plus a simple, clear display screen.
778CDT – CD Transport
The 778S streamer has the same display and a headphone port on the front panel, and is expected to support all the popular streaming services and features expected of a current network audio player.
778S – Music Streamer
I assume essential features such as Bluetooth and Tidal Connect, plus various other wi-fi-supported protocols will also be available.
