Linn has unveiled its first-ever plinth performance upgrade for the Sondek LP12, the Bedrock plinth. Further expanding the many upgrades for the LP12, this latest plinth upgrade is crafted of orthogonal layers of beech placed under extreme pressure and heat to create an entirely new, solid and massive material. This engineered ultra-dense wood, is claimed by Linn to have negligible resonance and superior acoustic isolation, that Linn tells us creates; “more pace, tighter bass, greater insight, and greater enjoyment!”

The Bedrock plinth technology has more than double the density of a standard LP12 plinth, is uniformly solid, heavy, and ultra-low resonance.

This upgrade provides an even mores solid and non-resonant mass to mount all the turntable and arm components to, which according to Linn; ” improves every aspect of your LP12″
