Goldmund Announces Pulp And Hub Wireless Speaker System

Goldmund have released its latest active speaker and wireless hub, the new Pulp + Hub speaker system that supports many high-resolution streaming formats to include; PCM 2-channel, PCM Multi-channel, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital+, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos, DTS, DTS-ES, DTS-HD, DTS-Express and DTS :X. The speakers appearance can be modified due to the rotating nature of the circular grille assembly.
These vented bookshelf sized designs use a 5″ (12.5cm) woofer and soft dome tweeter both driven by a pair of 175W Telos amplifiers. The resulting frequency response quoted to be 43Hz to over 25kHz.
Employing wireless speaker and audio (WiSA) technologies the hub can support up to 32 channels of audio at a 24-bit, 96 kHz resolution. For Bluetooth lovers the hub is also equipped with the latest Bluetooth aptX HD technology and chipset.
Sitting at the connectivity core of the system, the hub, that is controllable using the supplied remote, supports; HDMI, coaxial and optical digital inputs plus a pair of unbalanced RCA analog outputs.
Finally, this latest design is available in both black and silver gray finishes with optional custom matching stands for an additional $3,300/£3,250.
