Arcam of Cambridge, UK, has premiered its AVR11, AVR21 and AVR31 home theater receivers together with the AV41 high-performance AV processor. These new receivers and processor are claimed to be their most comprehensively equipped AV hardware released to-date.

Besides all hardware supporting HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3 for full 8K @ 60fps, high dynamic range formats include HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HLG, with immersive sound support extending to all formats to include: AURO-3D, Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision and DTS:X.

High quality audio is given a leg up with a pair of ESS9026PRO audiophile DACs, together with ESS reference voltage regulators. It is not specified, but it is assumed, that these DAC’s are setup to support the many audio streaming formats and in particular Hi-Res audio.

All receivers and the processor come with a microphone and Dirac Live room acoustics correction software with an optional upgrade of Dirac Live Bass Control. All designed to help you obtain the ideal listening environment.

Extensive wireless connectivity is provided with integrated streaming using Apple®Airplay2, Google Chromecast®, Bluetooth with aptX®HD, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and UPnP with the free MusicLife app. Plus all are Roon Ready and MQA compatible.

All hardware offers control over Wi-Fi, Ethernet, RS232 or IR.

The AVR11 and AVR21 each drive seven channels of Class AB amplification, with the AVR11 providing 7×85 watts and the AVR21 generating 7×110 watts, in both cases all channels driven. Decoding by the AVR11 is limited to 12 channels where as the AVR21 supports 16 channels and adds an additional HDMI output.

For those with active speakers or their own power amplifier array, the ARCAM AV41 AV processor supports all the processing and connectivity that the AVR31 does, but replaces the high power amplifiers with high quality, balanced line amplifiers driving sixteen XLR connectors.
