Vertere Launches XtraX And Dark Sabre Cartridges

Vertere have just released two new phono cartridges. The high-end XtraX, that sits above Vertere’s Mystic moving coil cartridge and the Vertere Dark Sabre that is the next step above Vertere’s Sabre moving magnet cartridge. Both models are said to “boast significant improvements over their predecessors”.

The moving coil XtraX now includes a lower tip mass and a stiffer, faster telescopic cantilever attached to a very low mass cross coil in a time-constant magnetic Field, a combination known internally as “Direct Drive”.

The moving magnet Dark Sabre now comes with a single crystal, nude micro elliptical diamond and dual aluminum telescopic cantilever.

• The low-mass generator is mounted into the high-mass body using a Quad-Point Contact with Four Stainless’ Spike’ Screws for optimum support and control of unwanted mechanical vibrations
• The telescopic aluminum tube cantilever uses two different aluminum materials – maximizing stiffness without a high Q peak
• Nude Micro Elliptical single crystal diamond stylus tip
• Square shank diamond assembly maximizes alignment precision, consistency and rigidity
