UK based Stratton Acoustics has expanded its Element Series with two new models – the Stratton Acoustics Element 6 and Element 8, both of which are built in the UK. Finishes include; piano white lacquer with silver baffles, with additional finishes planned.

Stratton Element 6
Both cabinets use an acrylic-silica reinforced polymer matrix, chosen for its inert properties, with aluminum front and rear baffles machined from aerospace-grade material. They also both use the same proprietary 1.2 inch (29mm) soft dome tweeter, decoupled and mounted in a waveguide for wide dispersion and precise imaging and use the reflex-loaded cabinets use flared porting and dual resistive vents, developed to control pipe resonance and eliminate port noise.

Stratton Element 8
The Stratton Element 6 is designed for smaller spaces or nearfield listening. It features a 6inch (160mm) carbon-fiber bass/midrange driver together with the brand’s proprietary 29mm soft dome tweeter. While the slightly larger Element 8 shares the same tweeter and enclosure design as the Element 6 but uses a larger 8inch (203mm) carbon-fiber driver for a more substantial low-frequency response.
Rear panel connectivity for both models uses gold-plated bi-wire custom binding posts.
Rounding off this pair are the optional dedicated Element Stands that are machined from aerospace-grade aluminum. They are designed to contribute to the overall acoustic performance by providing increased stability and reducing floor-borne vibration.
