Shanling Releases CR60 CD Transport – Quick Look

Back in September Shanling announced the CR60 Digital Transport and CD Ripper. A compact and lower cost device that features multiple outputs, a Phillips CD drive with Sanyo HD850 laser, and a remote control.
The CR60 acts as a CD transport and with Shanling’s Eddict Player app, users can rip CD’s right onto Android smartphones or Shanling portable players – the app providing all the tags for a properly organized library. It also offers CD ripping to computers and automatic ripping directly to USB drives.
Rear panel connectivity includes: USB-A. USB-B and USB-C for ripper support with USB-A, optical and coaxial for DAC support.
Control is available using the front panel buttons and associated 1.14inch LCD color display that shows core playback and ripping details, the supplied remote and the Shanling’s Eddict Player app. Power is supplied using an external 9-15VDC supply or 5VDC USB-C connections.
