The new Saga 2 class A, zero-feedback, differential passive or active preamp is now available from Schiit, who claim; “Saga 2 is literally the highest price-for-performance preamp we’ve ever done.” Saga 2 gives you a flexible interface to most sources and power amplifiers supporting both RCA and XLR outputs. It provides two gain levels and for the purist has a passive mode. Plus, for that private listening, it has a headphone jack.

Inside you will find a relay-potentiometer (volume control), passive-or-active support, class A amplification, zero-feedback, 100% discrete, a differential design and a 75V linear power supply, all supported with an included IR remote control.

Features include; switchable gain low (x1, x2), high (x4, x8) and passive mode, balanced and unbalanced outputs, a 64-step relay ladder volume for perfect channel matching, a fully discrete, class-A, no-feedback design, and a linear power supply.

Control is available using the two front panel buttons and knob or via the supplied IR remote that can select inputs, change volume, and pick from passive, active low or active high gain.

Rear panel connectivity includes; 4x RCA unbalanced stereo line inputs, 1x RCA unbalanced & XLR balanced stereo outputs. The front panel supports a 1/4″ headphone socket.

Finally, the Saga 2 comes with a 3 year parts and labor guarantee and if you do not like it you can return it within the first 15 days for a refund minus a 5% restocking charge.
