Rotel S14 Integrated Network Player – Just Add Speakers

To the for ever growing selection of network players and streamers Rotel has just added their S14, an integrated network streamer boasting 150watts of Class AB amplification into 4 Ohms or 80watts into 8 Ohms. All you need to do is add speakers.
The S14 offers an extensive range of digital connectivity and features providing access to streaming services, networked music libraries, wireless playback, and has built-in power amplification. Connectivity to other hi-fi kit is also available via its range of digital and analogue inputs.
The digital core of this streaming amplifier is based upon a 32-bit ESS Sabre DAC that handles sources up to 24-bit/384KHz, as well as fully unfolding MQA files via wired Ethernet or dual-band wi-fi. While the custom engineered toroidal transformer and 20,000uF of smoothing provide ample low noise power to the high-current output transistors.
You may access the players functions using either the supplied IR control and/or the front panel controls, with the front panel display showing album artwork, track and title information and simplifies the setup and configuration process. Major streaming sources are supported including; Spotify, TIDAL and Qobuz with more available on the accompanying S14 mobile app for iOS and Android. The S14 is Roon Ready and supports Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast and aptX HD Bluetooth and even plays MP3, WMA and AAC files from flash drives.
Its rear panel connectivity provides support for your other hi-fi equipment with coaxial, optical, analogue RCA and PC-USB source I/O.
