Record Store Day 2024 Announced

Record Store Day, claimed by some to be one of the largest single day music events in the world, has set the 2024 date. Keep your diaries clear for another vinyl shindig on the 20th April, 2024.

From Vinyl To Plastic is once again looking forward to this annual celebration of bricks-and-mortar record shops and the records we buy from them. This celebration in 2023 brought an awesome selection of Record Store Day vinyl releases and 2024 is no different with dozens of exclusive and RSD first releases.

For those still a little behind on the 2024 RSD releases check out the USA RSD and UK RSD release lists.

There are three categories in the US RSD list:

• EXCLUSIVES: These titles are physically released only at indie record stores.
• RSD FIRST: These titles are found first at indie record stores but may be released to other retailers or webstores at some point in the future.
• SMALL RUN/REGIONAL TITLES: These titles are either regionally based and sold at specific stores, or are press runs under 1000, which means they may be harder to find at record stores around the country. The majority of the titles on this section of the List are Small Run titles; any title that’s regionally based and most likely to be found at specific stores will have that called out in the description, which can be found on the web-based version of the List.
