Onkyo Icon Series Budget C-30 CD Player

Onkyo has announced the addition of the “high performance” budget C-30 CD player to its Icon Series of hi-fi separates. Earlier this year Onkyo announced its Icon Series of two-channel products with the launch of the P-80 network preamplifier, the M-80 power amplifier and the A-50 amplifier. Like the rest of the Icon Series, the CD player is available in Silver or Black and comes with a vibration-resistant, blast-finished aluminum front panel designed to reduce resonances and deliver cleaner playback.
The Onkyo Icon C-30 CD Player features a 24-bit/192KHz digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), with a signal-to-noise ratio of 107 dB. It is equipped with Onkyo’s proprietary Vector Linear Shaping Circuit (VLSC), which Onkyo claims to remove pulse noise from the signal path for a cleaner analogue output. A high-precision ±10PPM clock ensures timing accuracy and a focused, stable stereo image.
In addition to standard CD playback, the Onkyo Icon C-30 CD Player supports CD-R and CD-RW discs, along with MP3 and WMA file formats.
Rear panel connectivity includes; stereo unbalanced RCA, optical, and digital coaxial outputs supporting easy integration with a variety of premium audio systems
