NAD Electronics Announces CI Modular Series

NAD Electronics has announced the debut of its new Modular Series at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025. Being tailored to residential and commercial applications, NAD says that this innovative and scalable lineup is “designed to redefine custom installation audio”.

Available in July 2025, the Modular Series introduces three new products that combine excellent audio performance, seamless integration, and a user-friendly design, all in compact 1/3U width x 1U height form factors:

  • 4 x 60W or 2 x 120W (continuous into 8 ohms) of DirectDigital amplification
  • Dynamic Load Management auto-detects and routes power to outputs according to number of speakers connected
  • Compact 1/3 width x 1U height rack size
  • 2 x RCA line inputs with input gain potentiometers
  • 1 RCA line output (loop out from Input 1)
  • Global/local dip switch for Input 1
  • Stereo/mono selection for Inputs 1 & 2
  • 2 x 4-pin snap-on Phoenix block speaker connectors
  • Flexible wall or rack mount, and surface placement options

These three new models have been built with custom integrators in mind, the Modular Series offers the flexibility needed for both new installations and retrofit projects. Operating within the BluOS ecosystem, the NAD CI Modular series offers the same seamless interface for high-resolution music streaming and multi-zone audio management. BluOS is widely recognized for its stability, intuitive control, and integration capabilities with leading control systems, making it an ideal companion for NAD’s latest designs.

Together with the Modular Series launch, NAD is also introducing enhancements to its CI DSP amplifier range, including the CI 8-150 DSP, CI 8-120 DSP, and CI 16-60 DSP. These updates include:

  • A redesigned and intuitive dashboard that displays live status
  • An improved Zones page with simplified channel grouping, zone-specific sleep functions, and global input flexibility
  • The improved DSP section adds; limiters, delay, and phase control, for seamless subwoofer integration
  • Plus, enhanced layout, improved power management, faster boot-up times, and expanded third-party API integration for remote monitoring
