Musical Fidelity M6x 250.7 Now Available

Musical Fidelity’s first home theatre multi-channel amp delivers some serious power. This seven channel Class A/B amplifier can simultaneously deliver seven channels of up to 250 watts into speaker loads of 4 ohms.
With sound becoming such an integral part of the home movie experience, making that experience hear and feel the way the director intended needs lots of clean power with plenty of headroom and dynamics. The new M6x 250.7 fits this bill housing all seven channels into a modular designed chassis .
Power
The M6x 250.7 multichannel amplifier is a modular build with one 250W class A/B amplifier stage per channel. Two super silent audiophile toroidal power transformers distributes clean power, which is said to result in a high dynamic range with a detailed sound stage. The sophisticated heat sink design of the M6x 250.7 does not need a fan to keep the amplifier cool, so despite its big power, you will never hear any fan noise coming from the amp.
Connectivity
The M6x 250.7 provides a gold-plated RCA and a balanced XLR input per channel. Second gold plated RCA looping outputs are available to drive additional power amplifiers for bi-amping etc. Speaker connectivity is supported using gold-plated and isolated speaker output terminals that accept 4 mm Banana plugs, spades connectors or naked wire. A trigger in/out allows you turn the amplifier on/off via other components.
Finally the Musical Fidelity M6x 250.7 comes with high quality metalwork and an overall clean look. The front panel, in either black or silver finish and is a custom-made fine line aluminum extrusion and contains both the AC power and multi-color LED’s that indicate the status of each channel.
