Marantz have just announced the MODEL 60n network integrated amplifier that is designed according to Marantz to provide “exceptional hi-fi performance and comprehensive connectivity.” It supports high-resolution streaming via HEOS Built-in, just connect your CD player or turntable to complete your hi-fi system. Want more bass then the subwoofer output lets you easily add one to the system. Available in black and silver-gold finishes.

The MODEL 60n network streaming amplifier features Marantz’s acclaimed Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module (HDAM) technology plus 60W per channel into 8-ohms, of high-current Class A/B power with a THD of 0.02 % and damping factor of >100. DC power is provided by a toroidal transformer and linear power supply.

Streaming technologies include Bluetooth, Airplay 2, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect that support; Tidal (Hi Res), Deezer (Hi Res), Amazon Music HD, Pandora, TuneIn, iHeartRadio, SoundCloud, SiriusXM, AWA, Mood:Mix, Qplay and Sony HiRes. Having HEOS Built-in means high-quality network music streaming via Wi-Fi or Ethernet seamlessly joining a whole-home HEOS multiroom system with other HEOS-enabled products. Voice control is supported via; Amazon Alexa or Apple Siri.

Currently the MODEL 6on supports; DSD/DSF, FLAC, ALAC, WAV, AIFF, MP3, WMA and AAC file formats. Access to high-resolution music files is currently up to 24/192KHz or DSD11.2MHz.

Rear panel analog signal connectivity includes; 1 x moving magnet phono input, 3 x RCA line inputs, 1 x RCA pre out and 1 x RCA sub out. Digital connectivity is via the ESS SABER DAC and includes; 1 x optical, 1 x coaxial and 1 x USB-A. HDMI ARC provides convenient connectivity to TV’s, while wired network connectivity is through an RJ45. External control is provided via D-Bus using the remote RCA I/O connectors with speaker connectivity being supported on a single pair of binding posts.

Finally, local control is available using the front panel rotary controls and low-noise porthole OLED monochrome display and the supplied RC006PM remote.
