Lenco Launches LBT-225WA Wireless Turntable

Lenco has added yet another wireless turntable to its already large stable of vinyl spinners. This latest model, the LBT-225WA, features Bluetooth support and an analogue-to-digital (ADC) conversion system via its USB. This latest model comes in a dark walnut finish and uses a belt drive to spin the 13mm thick glass platter. It comes with a pre-installed Audio-Technica AT-VM95W moving magnet (MM) cartridge, carbon fiber tonearm with detachable headshell and counterweight, anti-skating weight and RCA connectors. There’s also a dust cover included to keep the turntable clean.

The LBT-225WA supports Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless transmission, with a range up to 10 meters, allowing you to stream your records to Bluetooth speakers or headphones in other rooms. It has a  signal-to-noise ratio of 55dB and a wow and flutter of <0.15%.

Its rear panel contains the gold plated unbalanced RCA outputs that can be switched between line level with full RIAA equalization, or the phono cartridge low level output in order to drive your own external phono EQ stage.

The rear panel USB connection supports connectivity to a PC allowing the user to rip records into a digital format and there is a three position switch that adjusts the recording level volume. This functionality is however limited to the creation MP3 files only and Lenco recommends the use of the free Audiocity software for this process.

The turntable can play both 331/3 and 45 RPM records, has adjustments for tracking force, bias and azimuth but no height (VTA) adjustment.
