Innuos have just announced the simultaneous launch of its Stream1 and Stream3 new modular streamers that can be expanded at a later date. They come with a comprehensive range of features provided by their in-house Innuos Sense app. Both are available in a black finish while the Stream3 is also available in a silver finish. These new models are expected to replace the ZEN Mk3 Series.

 Stream1 is the new entry-level Hi-Fi music streamer and server:

Key features include:

  • Convenient Design: Half-width design
  • Quality sound: A dedicated CX regulator provides low noise power to the dedicated output module, creating a purer signal for better sound quality
  • Upgradeable: Add the new LPS1 external power supply for a significantly improved power source to further improve sound performance. Housed in a matching chassis
  • Optional output Modules: Use the built-in USB audio outputs, or maximize performance with a dedicated output module, including Standard DAC, Performance DAC, Phoenix USB, or SPDIF boards
  • 1TB, 2TB or 4TB of pre-fitted M2nVE storage – or install your own up to 8TB.

Stream3 is the new top-performance Hi-Fi music streamer and server.

Key features include:

  • High-Precision Chassis: A substantial chassis of 10mm thick CNC-machined Aluminum provides shielding and vibration control in a high-quality enclosure
  • 1TB, 2TB or 4TB of pre-fitted M2nVE storage – or install your own up to 8TB.
  • High-quality Power: Featuring an ARC6-CX active-rectification LPSU and large bank of Mundorf capacitors (132,000uf), a large 300VA toroidal transformer and medical-grade AC filtering further reduce noise.
  • Audiophile Analogue: Choose the optional new Phoenix DAC module for a high-end, dual-mono internal DAC with RCA and XLR outputs, utilizing OCXO and FEMTO clocks and powered by an independent analogue regulation stage
  • Optional output Modules: Use the built-in USB audio outputs, or maximize performance with a dedicated output module, including Standard DAC, Performance DAC, PhoenixDAC, PhoenixUSB, PhoenixI2S, or SPDIF boards

Optional Output Modules:

The Stream1 and 3 come with a range of optional output modules, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your system requirements. Giving the user the ability to change this module as your needs change when connecting to a DAC, amplifier, active speakers, or more.

Sense 3.3 App

Supporting both of these new streamers is and updated Sense 3.3 app – currently in beta version. It is said to bring improved performance and functionality and a more intuitive user experience.

Key Features include:

  • Spotify Connect support for streaming directly from the Spotify app to the Innuos system
  • Introducing ‘SmartQ’ – to keep the music flowing when the listener reaches the end of their track queue
  • Stream directly from the Qobuz app through Qobuz Connect support (currently for Qobuz beta users only)
  • New Presets widget to quickly access favorite playlists, smart mixes and radio stations
