Ideon Audio, a leader in high-end digital audio, announces the launch of its latest digital streamer, the Absolute Stream META, an audiophile music server/streamer which renders music files and will also play audio from internet sources, i.e. radio and web services such as Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, etc. The design is milled out from a single block of aluminum and comes standard in either a black or sliver aluminum finish, with optional custom finishes.
This latest design now has an internal Roon core, femto clock architecture and is powered by Ideon Audio’s own high quality, large all linear power supply. The META is equipped with a 4TB solid state internal hard drive, upgradeable to 8TB and supports 44.1kHz to 384kHz PCM up to 32 bits, and DSD up to 8xDSD.
The low-noise power supply is built using audiophile, low esr, silk caps and a high-wattage, hand-made, audiophile transformer keeping noise levels to an absolute minimum. This is all helped by proprietary and upgradable FET-based, zero-noise rectification active bridging technology, eliminating diode-rectification noise. Plus there are four separate, discrete, power lines with ultra-low noise linear power within the Absolute Stream providing the different voltage levels the device requires. Enclosed within a 49lbs (22Kg) CNC milled chassis, all extraneous noise and interference are reduced to an absolute minimum. 
The META provides seamless integration with Qubuz, allowing you to play directly through Qubuz without needing to go through Roon first. All other streaming services such as Tidal, JRiver, etc. also work flawlessly with the new META.
Finally, rear panel connectivity includes; 2 x USB and 1 x RJ45 Ethernet inputs, plus 2 x USB 3.0 for external HD Music Libraries.
