Ultra high-end Swiss audio brand Goldmund has announced its newest mono power amplifier, the TELOS 1800, that sits between their Telos 3300 and Telos 1000 models in their NextGen mono power amplifier selection.
It supports a maximum power of 420WRMS into 8 Ω with 1% total harmonic distortion (THD), with a THD+N of less than 0.05%, from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, at an output voltage of 30VRMS. Boasting a noise floor of less than 3 μV from 20Hz to 20kHz when unloaded, together with a gain of 35dB, a dynamic range of 110dB and a damping factor of 600 at 1kHz into 8Ω.
The amplifier case has been upgraded to a thicker panel structure of 12mm, up from 6-8mm, improving enclosure rigidity and vibration resistance.
Rear panel connectivity includes; balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analog line level inputs, digital input and output RCA connectors, an AC earth binding post and earth lift switch, two speaker output binding posts and a 4B speaker connector. With wired control being available via the RS232 command connector.
Finally, the TELOS 1800 is available in the signature Goldmund silver grey with the ability for the purchaser to “personalize” the front, top, left hand ring, in either gold or silver gray.
