Gold Note PH-1000 LITE Phonostage – Quick Look

Italian Hi-Fi brand Gold Note has expanded their PH-1000 phonostage range by adding the PH-1000 LITE version.
The original PH-1000 premium phonostage provided enormous flexibility but at a price. The new PH-1000 LITE maintains much of its siblings technical performance and quality while limiting some of the extensive features, like EQ curves, expandability and I/O count, making it a little more affordable. The LITE version supports two unbalanced RCA and one balanced XLR independent inputs, one unbalanced RCA and one balanced XLR output, plus the Proprietary TUBE expansion connectors. Eighteen EQ curves and IR remote are also still avilable.
Like the PH-1000 premium, an external power supply, such as the PSU-1000/1250, maybe added to improve noise and performance and for those who like the sound of valves the TUBE 1006 or 1012 may be still added as a line output stage via the phonostages TUBE connectors.
